Bottecchia Sunday Spin – 12/07/20
Today’s spin took us inland again, but this week a right turn was taken on the Ballyfarnon road to take us on through Roscommon rather than Leitrim, the Main group packed with some very strong riders & the pace showed that , with Marek completing the 101kms with an average of 31.7kms/hr.
Frenchie was in the front group who took a slightly route to the coffee stop in Boyle heading on through Ballyfarnon & taking a turn right in Keadue to them through Knockvicar and onto the N4, it was 4kms longer But possibly a better road and a quicker route, there was still no sign of the main group at the “Usual coffee stop” (our stock photo below confirms where The usual spot is for the record

The return home with a head wind took us onto Cloonloo & Gurteen , with a right turn to take us home through Ballymote & Collooney , With two very strong groups on the road today and some serious improvement in riders throughout the field , Wednesday nights first league race is looking promising for the Bottecchia Club.
