Gravel Grind West 2023

Saturday September 16th, 5 of Chain Driven Cycles club members made the short trip down from Sligo to Westport for the Gravel Grind West event. We tackled both the 110km and the 75km routes and we couldn’t do anything but just praise the entire event, from the preparation emails and gpx files, they were spot on so we couldn’t get lost even after the locals best efforts to send us astray, the route was one of the most scenic you’ll see in Ireland, Nephin park is remarkable, the food stops and burgers/pasta after were amazing and the photography for the whole day was first class.
100% we will be back next year and hopefully bring a few more with us. Well done to Padraig and all of the organisers for running a great event.
