Another Solid Sunday Spin

Another Solid Sunday put in by the two groups on the road this morning

With 9 cyclists in the Main group averaging over 30kms for the third week in a row completing over the 100kms in testing conditions with strong performances throughout, a further 6 lads were up the road in the faster group who on the day averaged a very controlled and enjoyable (I’m told) 32.2km/hr.

Aidan changed the tactics this week and decided to cycle out with a tail wind to the tea stop in Drumkeeran & Head back Into the wind via Dromahair & Calry, a decision he thoroughly regretted around Parkes Castle on the way home .

We had two new recruits today along with a now consistent Alan Mc Donald to add 3 very strong riders to the main group (for now).
